I was officially trained at the vocational school in Plattling and at the Nuremberg-Augsburg University of Music. Since then I have been holding the title of qualified music teacher. However, I dare to say that the time at the university was not particularly formative for my educational career and had very little to contribute to my current offer. At least they hadn't managed to drive out my passion for teaching there. After completing my studies, I began to work out the real and important strengths of a good music teacher. Of course, I have to master the techniques and tricks on the instrument and be able to show them to my students. But that actually only comes second. In reality, as a teacher, I have to be a motivator and planner. Mastering the instrument is only the end product of our work. My main task is to motivate the students and get them excited about their skills. They also have to learn to take on a good sense of responsibility for their hobby. Together we organize and plan the everyday routine and the necessary exercises to achieve a good performance and to be able to develop the potential of the students at all. So I attended many workshops, took private lessons and read a lot of articles and books on a wide variety of topics. On the one hand, I act like a erfolgsberater. In this regard, I have been very influenced by the work of Jim Rohn, Larry Winget, Brian Tracy, Dale Carnegie, and John C. Maxwell. Pedagogically, I was strongly influenced and inspired by the work and methodology of Vera F. Birkenbihl, Andreas Burzik, Martin Gellrich, Barry Green, Malte Heygster, Stephan Kramer, Gerhard Mantel, Peter Meier, Philipp Moehrke, Jörg Schweinbenz, Frank Rohe, Francis Schneider, Georg Schwenk, Ingeborg Schmidt-Noll, Johannes Tappert, Peter von Wienhardt. Musically mainly by Franka Lampe, Peter Meier, Ingeborg Schmidt- Noll and Georg Schwenk. Of course, I don't want to offer dry lessons either, and I spice up my lessons with a good pinch of wit and humor. You may laugh in my lessons. By that I don't mean cheap jokes, but rather sophisticated humor. And so the style of comedians and cabaret artists such as Hans Liberg, Hagen Rether, Dieter Hildebrand, Roland Düringer, Sigi Zimmerschied, Bill Maher, George Carlin, Lewis Black, Dylan Moran and many others influenced me a lot. In addition, I have studied a lot of books from the field of learning efficiency and learning techniques, neuronal sciences and psychology in order to refine my method. Teaching is my passion and I offer my students a wide range of knowledge that is not just related to my subject area. A lot of cogs interlock when learning an instrument and I want to bring these relationships and backgrounds closer to my students and make them understandable in this way. This whole package of accumulated knowledge led to a teaching concept with a high level of customer orientation. With me you get high quality teaching for your money. I orient myself towards the wishes of my customers and don't bother anyone with boring subjects. Lessons are underpinned with video tutorials. I look for the best possible learning method for you. I do not waste your time on pointless studies. My declared goal is the independence of my students. I will take you to a point where you will be able to learn your favorite music by yourself and without my help. In return, I naturally expect a high level of commitment from my students, a high level of motivation and a willingness to practice regularly.
